| The Vine was fine before they went and refurbished it. If you went in there on a friday night it would be packed solid with people drinking in there until around 10-11 when they would continue on into uxbridge. You would also get a lot of people in there when the football was on, and teams such as Arsenal, Chelsea and Spurs were on. Since they done it up it's been like someone died. I drink elsewhere now Dave88 - 6 Mar 2008 18:06 |
| Thought I`d pop in and take a look on friday, heard loads about the dodgy refurb. The place was practically empty, this at 8.30 on a friday night. There seemed to be a distinct lack of younger people in there, perhaps that was the reason for the revamp. I must admit I quite liked the old Vine, drank there on and off for many years, not sure as to why the change of image, it was very popular as a sports type bar, now just seems to be another ponced up local pub . | The London Pride is not very good in here, in fact it was the worst I've had for ages. They don't need beer like this if they can't look after it. fuzzfeast - 17 Dec 2007 08:36 |

| my wife and i visited 2 weeks after the re launch and i must say the decor and atmosphere was second to none. however the food wasn't the best there are a few pubs locally with a cheaper and tastier offering(no offence chris) overall i would go back but possibly not to eat. littledog2000 - 18 Nov 2007 23:16 |
