Got dragged here by a friend earlier today. Never been before but LOVED it. Thanks to all this that made us welcome. markSutton - 23 Sep 2008 21:24
Excellent pint of London Pride, but no TV for the cricket, and they don't do the amazing bacon sandwiches any more. dozysharp - 11 Jul 2008 13:14
In response to Martin Shaw's comments I also use this pub. what makes you an authority on people. do you just wander round pubs believing yourself to be na expert? You have the audacity to criticise jamesball888 for his lack of using proper grammar, please practice what you preach; "It's awful 'nuff said." as for your further statement " HOW COULD ANY DECENT HUMAN BEING EVER SUBJECT THEMSELVES TO THIS Dump? Again what makes you think you are so superior? Perhaps you should just stick to your local if you have one. pet - 25 Mar 2008 15:50
Martin Shaw are you for real?, you really do come across as being a total prick. You swan around pubs in predominantly working class areas making quite offensive comments about the locals you encounter. What are you expecting?, a roaring fire perhaps?, or maybe a load of braying rahs talking about hiking in the Cotswolds. Its Uxbridge and Hillingdon mate, not Henley on Thames. The Prince is a nice earthy local pub, nothing more, nothing less and as for harbouring known drug dealers, you really are talking out of your backside TSW - 8 Feb 2008 16:06
Hey there, before I begin I shall tell you this review will be a bit biased... well because it's my local and everyone loves their local pub XD First of all, this is a pub for locals I cannot stress that enough, it's not for partying or girls. It's just for a manly pint of beer/cider/whisky [pint of Whisky ha =p]They have ale pumps! You can't find that in your new-age bars! Anyway, the staff are friendly [except for one who I won't name], the food is a little pricey and the atmosphere in my eye's is of welcoming after a hard days work.It has an outside thingy, but that's not that great. Also on the other side of the bar, it has a jukebox with squillions of music, someone played Pink Floy'ds "Shine on you crazy diamiond" and got their 13 minutes worth of money... ANYWAY!! Is it the best pub in the world? No. But it'll always be my local, and that's all I want it to be =] jamesball888 - 7 Jan 2008 22:53
