I am Tara Jane and how dare you judge my clientele most of whom are students at the local university. Your points are invalid for one I do not sell or advertise real ale so that is like saying that i do not have lollipops, It is irrelevant. I have had no proplems at all in the last 6 months and it has been a pleasure to run such a charming community pub. This can be verified by the local constabulary who have told me I am doing an excellent job. We are just trying to make a living running a decent honest little pub. I would love to talk to you next time you visit to see how you can pass judgment on people just by appearance. Thank you Julie and Gordon for your comments I would love to meet up one day to swap Cowley Brick stories. All I can say is that I hope people will visit and make their own minds up. tarajane - 19 Jan 2010 18:25
I feel I have to write and defend ourselves, in answer to Ladyday ( Lets face it a 29 year old male calling himself Ladyday not quite right) Anyway Julie & Myself where landlords of the The Cowley Brick from sept.2006 til Feb 2009.During that time WE YES WE revamped the pub inside and out. The police where never called once, checkable speak to sgt.mees licencing officer. In answer to some of your comments mar.2009. 1 there was never any elderly couple attacked or hospitalised.2 Julie (My wife ) the landlady certainly did not sell or use drugs 3.I did not threaten any residents.4 The Brick within 14 mths. had come second in hillingdon in bloom.5Did not lose money on house sale We improved the appearance of the pub 100% .Ladyday or ladyboy could go on but not going to waste any more of my time,in future provide dates and times.Iv'e been a licencee for 27 years and in all my time never heard so much rubbish.I can only guess that you are a lonely little boy ?. Tara have to agree, great local great customers .We wish you and your team all the best at The Brick. Gordon& Julie. nodrogw - 1 Nov 2009 22:51
Have lived near to the Brick for a while but haven't been for a couple of years. It used to be ok for a drink with a mate, but not so good for a nice pint with the wife. Will have to take another look as based on my last visit I'd only have given it 4/10... southendjames - 8 Sep 2009 18:09
