I disagree, the people in this place are really quiet friendly and would certainly tell all others the same.
Maybe the locals were having a bit of an off-night.
I'm sure it will be better next time round . . I hope.

O'Neills, Shepherds Bush

A good pub and one previous comment that it's not over run with antipodeans, no , but a lot of eastern europeans who don't speak english and don't understand the music either, they look at the band as if to say whatta youasaying about? antipodeans at least speak english and appreciate good music.

The Twickenham Tup, Twickenham

We gigged here on the 25th August, and found it hard using the venue P.A system. I really couldn't get into it as I couldn't here myself and my equipment. Simon, the manager, is a great guy and tries to help the musicians as much as possible, but he's got issues with the neighbours which restrict the noise. A solution is very much needed to the sound system in this pub. The crowd were the best. What a great audience, they sang along to every song and were really appreciative towards the sound problems on the night . . bless them. I would love to make this a regular gig, but until the P.A is sorted I will wait in hope that it's rectified as I feel the audience are cheated if the musician cannot get a good vibe from a more workable system.
This is a great venue and worth a consideration for a good night out.

Another bloody awesome night at '' Foleys '' this place seems to attract a nice cliental compared to the previously management, who did nothing to get this venue happening.
There seems to be a lot more nice ladies attending this pub, and thats great. Patronized by Kiwis and Aussies, which is a good thing as they have a good time without any hassle. Live music [ good music only ] need play here.Phillipa has got this pub up and running for the better. See you all at the next gig. Looking forward to it.

The Grotto Inn, Weybridge

Your entittled to your opinion . . . d'head, leave your e mail instead of being a whimp and leaving an anonymous feedback. There weren't many people there at the last gig, and we had 2 encores . . stupid . . so whats the hassle, and if we or I wasn't what you liked then have the balls to approach me and air your views.
Better still DON'T fxxx'n come to the grotto.

The Villagers Inn, Blackheath

Went to this pub for a meal by recommendation. All i can say is the fish is the best and with good service by the pub managers is a certainty to get my business again.

29 Mar 2006 15:20

The Prince, Shepherds Bush

recently went to this pub again to see if it had changed for the better . . . guess what! not in your life . . .a couple of slappers trying to hit on these dark old guys, they were mutton dress up as lambs . . . . not!
Same again crap service and really bad attitude, like it was a chore to serve you , and the pub stank of stale urine and bird crasp on the walss and windows . . not good at all . will never set place in this pub again . . warning to all!
