I'm a regular at The Rose and thank god it is one of only two Pubs in the area that still show Sky Sports. It is a very friendly/lively Pub, especially during the football season. Contrary to the previous derogatory comment, it is NOT FULL of badly behaved children.

If your gagging for a nice quiet drink after getting off the train? turn right out of Godalming station and this friendly, unpretentious little pub is a couple of hundred yards on the left well worth a visit.

The Winterton Arms, Chiddingfold
It certainly is a quite roadside pub now! because you never know when the new land lord can be bothered to open up for business. Shame really, has the potential to be a great village Pub.

Was in the pub last weekend, small boozer quite popular in the evenings, shows Sky and Setanta sports, great atmospher during the games. Has Doombar and Pride and a good range of lagers, staff friendly.Will be in there for the Rugby World Cup games.

The Star, Godalming
Pleasant little Pub, staff efficient and friendly, toilets let it down badly had to hold my nose, smell overwhelming, made me feel really sick. Worse than the Elephant House at the London Zoo. Please put some disinfectant and bleach down the drains?
