The Stoneham, Hove

Use this pub now and again in the afternoon. Always a friendly bunch proping up the bar and hard not to get talking. Good pint of London Pride and decent prices. Friendly bar staff. Went to a rock night once, everybody seemed to be having a good time but too loud for me, age?

Nice place to sit and watch the world go by on a sunny day. Take a picnic.

The Master Mariner, Brighton

This pub has with the recent change of management has reall become the place to go. The only real pub at the marina. Good beer, food, friendly staff and all the sports on a big screen. Or you can sit outside in the sun and look at the boats. Dog and child friendly. Pool and a separate resturaunt upstairs. Worth a visit.

The George Inn, Littlehampton

This pub is a good Wetherspoons. Last time I was there in April had a smashing breakfast and a really good pint of Pedigree. Set me up for the day. Attentive staff, good service, excellent prices. Nice one!

The Plough Inn, Henfield

Cozy pub with good food, excellent Harveys and friendly bar staff. Called there after a country walk with kids and dogs and no problems entering with either (all well behaved). Lounge bar has more formal dining area and the food coming out there looked top notch. Will definately call again.

The Bristol Bar, Brighton

Excellent beer and the view from the bar is great. Comfortable surroundings. Food looks good but when I ate there (a quiche) it come out still frozen in the middle. May be just not my day!

The Albion, Hove

Good place to hide from the wife and have a quiet pint when she's off shopping. Good beer with friendly staff and customers.

The West Quay, Brighton

This is a LLoyds No 1 pub. Fantastic location with wonderful views over the sea and marina. Unfortunatly that's it. Staff useless, Manager rude, beer off, food no good. Take a walk around and take in the sights then bugger off somewhere else for a beer.

The George Payne, Hove

Basic, locals style pub, always at least 1 real ale and good selection of keg beers and draft lagers. 2 pool tables and bar billiards. Regular competitions and darts teams. Friendly Landlord Neil and his wife Jean will nearly allways make you a sandwich. Good free nick-nacks on Sundays.
