I took the nippers in here for lunch when we were down in Littlehampton the other day. The place looks a bit in need of a redecoration but otherwise I was pleased to note a) friendly staff; b) manager and locals with a good line in banter; c)ale in good nick; d)speedy service.
One of those "Spoons" that manages to be a proper local, it would seem.

Not a bad spoons. Food ok, reasonable pricing on drinks. Gets busy on a Friday and Saturday evening.

Wasn't sure about this Wetherspoons on first glance, but we needed lunch and didn't fancy any of the other pubs as we had a child with us.

We left with no complaints, the bitter was upto scratch, the food was fine and the whole bill came to less than £20 for 4.

The only negative would be the girl behind the bar who chatted away to her mate while a queue steadily built at the bar.
