Had some time to spare before catching the train late on Sunday evening.
Ordered a pint of Stongbow and a glass of Pinot Grigio.
This was the first visit for a number of years. Place much improved, staff quite friendly, and the Wetherspoon burger list looks ok - will try next time

Its a W/spoons and all that goes with it

cheap beer , chatty customers ,
no sideways glances because you are not a local etc

I have had the grub several times, and no complaints.

As soon as I get off the train ( 10 mins walk from stn) ) in we go

Called in over New Year. Typical JDW- like them or loathe them or just tolerate them.
Couldn't fault the beer or the service.....didn't eat.

Nice pub, cheap beer & food, all you would expect from a wetherspoons really, not much of an atmosphere.
The staff were great though, Speedy service but still had time for a smile & a laugh.
