| Overcrowded little place, could not get a drink because of the bar huggers refusing to let anyone in, in spite of the barmaid desperately trying to serve me. I'll not revisit there until they change their policy, and keep one bit of the bar vacant for service. Bigglesworth - 28 Jan 2012 22:06 |

| Was quite shocked to find this closed over Christmas due to a fire. Relieved to say it is now open again and nothing has changed (apart from the slightest presence of new paint)! Business as usual - great beer, great atmosphere great pub!! uriahheep - 22 Mar 2011 18:02 |
| Liked this place. Mid afternoon on a weekday so the place wasn't too busy. Good selection of ales and those I tried were in good condition. The rottweiler (Rocky ?) is even friendly too. I can see why this pub would be very popular. persist_artist - 7 Oct 2010 16:13 |
