| Went to watch the racing. It is more a private club with only the locals acknowledged. Dire beer, Tried Sussex, which was flat. Little choice. No food, just a few bags of crisps. | Made the mistake of dropping in here thinking it would be a small, old school boozer. What a dump. | Odd place. They have repainted the frontage of the pub and completely ruined it- the old school character has been lost and I would be tempted to boycott it on principle if it wasn't such an awful pub in the first place.
