Enzo's Bar, Woking

Is this now an Italian bar or Vietnamese? Hard to tell as it's hardly ever open. When it is there are no customers so a good place to go and watch their telly in peace!

The Royal Oak, North Gorley

What a shame, a beautiful building but uninviting pub. Where are the pretty flowers, the tables in the back garden, the homely touch? Seems to be staffed by young kids who have no clue. The children's play area needs to go as parents don't seem to supervise their screaming kids. It could be such a lovely place in an unspoiled part of the forest watching the deer in the adjoining field. The menu is not very inspiring either. Despite visiting North Gorley quite regularly I won't be returning to the Royal Oak.

The Wheatsheaf, Horsell

Uncared for, fence broken in back garden, cigarette ends everywhere, bin overflowing. Go inside to be greeted by dead plants that should have been thrown away weeks ago. Tables not cleared and cleaning clothes left around. Not nice at all. Oh yes, and they only have two large wine glasses! Come on Ember Inns, get your act together, the Sovereigns has rapidly gone down hill too.

The Sovereigns, Woking

Used to be a great pub, food was good and it was always busy. Hasn't been like that for some months now. What is going on? Bring back the previous landlord and landlady.

The Six Bells, Billingshurst

Met some friends here for lunch yesterday. Lovely log fire, great service and we all enjoyed our food. If I lived closer I would definitely visit again.

The Station, Woking

Best pub in central Woking, reasonable prices, friendly staff and hot, fresh food and nicely chilled wine. Very clean and comfortable. Definitely recommend. Better by far than the other chain pubs.

The Castle Inn, West Lulworth

Brilliant pub! Friendly staff, excellent food that is very reasonably priced. My dog Millie thought it was great too!

The Richard Onslow, Cranleigh

A great improvement! But SO expensive and teeny tiny portions of food.

The Weir Hotel, Walton on Thames

Went in last week and it was packed full of children and dogs. The dogs were all very well behaved. Very uninviting from the outside, it could be so attractive with it's riverside setting. Friendly bar staff.

The Talbot Inn, Ripley

Very, very expensive. And very disorganised.

The Wellington Inn, Colwall

Absolutely superb food!

The King William IV, Mickleham

What a lovely location. Been here many times but very disappointed on last visit. The garden is a tip, please tidy it up and sweep the rubbish away and plant some new plants in all the empty pots. Could be such pretty and romantic little place. Beer was off as well.

The Seven Stars, Ripley

Must have picked a bad evening. Husband and I ate here last night, food not good at all.

Bridge Barn, Woking

I agree with the last review. Could be a charming garden but it's like a rubbish tip. There has been a lot of money spent on decking and plants but no-one takes care of it. Shame, with it's location is could be the best pub in Woking. Come on Bridge Barn staff, get your act together.

The Rose and Crown, Godalming

Went in here on Saturday afternoon. An overwhelming smell of the toilets when you walk out to the garden. Has the potential to be a very attractive pub, shame it isn't.
