The Harrow, Hornchurch

Unpretentious pub that is one of the best Hornchurch has to offer. The staff and atmosphere are warm. The beers are good and prices are ok. Not a knock out though.

The Elm Park, Elm Park

This is my local and I've been in it once. The staff weren't exactly friendly and the decor is minimal. Ok if you like white walls. and white people.

The Moon and Stars, Romford

A not up the usual standards Wetherspoons pub!!! Food ok, beer cheap, locals scary. There were two fights outside when I was there and this was a Friday afternoon. Oh, and another guy there had a heart attack. Not a good vibe.

The Chandos, Trafalgar Square

Lovely old pub with a good and reasonably priced range of beers and cider by Samuel Smith. The pub grub is of a good standard and there is lots of seating upstairs and down, especially once the nearby theatre shows have started. Still, after 19 years in London, one of my favourite places to meet up with friends.

The Pride of Spitalfields, Shoreditch

Fantastic atmosphere, genuine east end bar staff and a great range of beers add up to near perfection in this superb pub that I consider to be one of the best in London. well worth checking out next time you wander down Brick Lane for a Ruby.

The Tyburn, Marble Arch

Tacky pub with very poor service. I waited 10 minutes at the bar and it wasn't that busy. There seemed to be a manager behind the bar who thought his job consisted of standing and watching.

The Bow Bells, Bow

Rather overpriced local pub that maintains a good ambiance. the decor is dingy though and the place would benefit from a face lift.
