Tried again following chad`s comment on his wife going in on her own I often go out alone before meeting friends and find it very difficult finding pubs that I am comfortable in, the magnet is NOT one of them. Never again

I love this pub, so friendly and great great beers. They do seem to have a very strange pet though, I have seen many a pub dog but never a pub chicken before! ha ha brilliant

As a female real ale drinker this is a great place I feel very comfortable drinking in here, the landlady has similar taste in beers and has pointed out some fantastic beers for me to try. I wish there were more pubs like this around
