Well, I'm not a local and I LIKE this place. Mind you, I'm not allowed to drink at lunchtime because of my job, so although I'd love to tell you what the beer's like, I can't. Service even for my piddling soda and lime always very friendly.

A great pub. Run by Fin and Nora. V friendly, great pint of guinness. The best pub in Hampton.

This has got 2 b the best pub around it has evrything you'll ever need gr8 ppl gr8 drinks n loads of laufs by all these other comments whicj i was depply shoccked at i have come 2 the conclusion that ur a norman no m8s ur more bitter than all the beers in that pub this is a friendly local pub wid a gr8 landlord n the most wonderful landlady you'll ever meet. The windmill welcomes any newcomers. This is a gr8 place which is a pleasure 2 go 2 if u want fun n laufs n a good time come to the windmill. Well done Finn n Nora.

If you've lost your builder / decorator / plumber "getting some parts", look here first. They're propping up the bar from 4pm. Language always colourful.
15 years + ago run by a great landlord - Ray - who WAS friendly & took no truck from dodgy customers. It's all changed now.
