I agree with some of the comments about Joe's. It had become a place for the "Louts" of Hampton to keep coming in and out of all night while people were trying to have a meal. All that has hopefully changed. It has been re furbed and the menu has improved. Service is efficient and friendly and on my last two visits quite recently.............no sign of the "Hoodies". I do hope it stays this way, its a great improvement and I think good value for money.

I'm a bit surprised by some of the poor reviews. I recently went there with a group from work and thought it was so nice I took my family back there two days later. I am also vegatarian. but it was explained to me that as everything was freshly prepared I could have any dish I liked and they would do it without the meat. there is a pasta dish which should come with bacon, cheese and onions,I had this without the the bacon and it was great. Also the service and prices where fine.

the food was ok, soup to start -fantastic, however the veggie choice is very very limited .
We were not offered a childrens menue - and only noticed the advertised a childrens menu on the way out...
service is painfully slow. we went at 6.30 on a sunday evening, the place was virtually empty yet starters and main course took two hours...we didnt stay for deserts as it was just two long for the children.

the prices - for a pub restaurant were high -totel bill for two adults and 3 kids -£95.....they included 10% sevice charge which frankly I would not have given as the service was nothing other than serving food.
I would not bother again. Id rather go to a resturant where i would expect to pay these prices and have better choice of food for adults, veggies and children rather than a pub restaurent.

Have visited Joes on many occasions and seems to go more downhill every time. I recently went there as a last resort and within minutes reaslised why I had stopped going there - The owner (i think he's the owner anyway) has never been very accommodating it's meant to be "child friendly" my friends and myself asked for our bill after 10 minutes after it was obvious we would have to strap our kids to the chairs and keep them quiet!!! (baring in mind it wasn't very busy in there) That in my book isn't very child friendly. That was certainly the last time I will be leaving there disappointed, as won't be visitin again.

I have given it a 3 because rather than a big ZERO because the prices are reasonable.
