| Don't know how long Ember Inns have been running this but since we moved to the area last summer it's the pub we keep coming back to. Good beer selection (although I've not got beyond the Harvey's yet), decent grub and unfailingly pleasant and helpful staff. misterbaz - 30 Mar 2011 20:10 |

| My wife and I really like this pub. The prices are reasonable (compared to a lot of places) and the pub is always spotlessly clean. They have a car park round the back which you do have to pay for but you get your pound refunded when you get to the bar. The staff are great and you never have to stand around long before you are served. The food is good too. They have a nice little beer garden around the back and at the front it catches all the afternoon sun as you watch the world go by. We love it. bigalfonzo - 30 Aug 2010 12:44 |

| Probably the most vacant, miserable staff on earth. If they can't even pretend to be interested, get a job somewhere else. Saw the swarthy spiky haired one kicking crisp bags around the floor and then put them back into the box. A barman who thought half a lager shandy had to go into a pint glass. Long chat about half pint glasses. The quiz is the only reason for going there. Oh, and by the way, if you're a friend of the staff, not only will you be served first but you'll also be served under age.
