| DATE OF VIST: 03/02/10 Visited there with family for a lunch. Took advantage of their two meals for £9 promo and were good sized portions. Had a pint of Old Speckled Hen which went down well. The interior was quite smart and not too dated whilst the staff appeared to be friendly and helpful. Overall, the visit was a positive experience though I can't say what it's like there in the evening as I went during lunchtime. | not child friendly at all, the manager threw out a six week old baby because he was crying waiting for his bottle to cool down after staff had over heated it. | Pretty non-descript 1950s building. A pool table, juke box, and not much else of note. A Courage pub, with little or no atmosphere, oh, and the beer isn't up to much. End of story. norgor - 4 Apr 2006 22:14 |
