| LOL, I used to live here as well and drink here occasionally and can only agree whole heartedly with stwutter, the other reviews must have been made by the pubs own management or a being from a parrallel universe. Hastings - 29 Oct 2006 07:52 |
| ?? WHAT ?? I lived in a flat near the Albion for 2 years. It has to be one of the weirdest pubs I've ever walked into (and walked out of within 10 minutes). It's bizarre - the whole bar area is like an extremely badly decorated plasterboard semi from and Episode of Terry & June, the beers are naff and the clientelle are a freak-show. Everyone was the odd one you find in every other boozer - you know, the one you give a wide berth to on the way to the loo, just in-case you catch something a little nasty, and can't wee for a week. You wondered who ever bought their Jeans from Woolworths? Now you know. The post below mentions that it's a good haunt for Spurs fans. Good. They seem to finally have got the pub they've always deserved... stwutter - 14 Aug 2006 12:29 |
| This is another top notch local pub offering spurs fans the chance to come together under one tiny roof to play darts and drink local ale. The staff are very friendly and are not quick to kick you out if it gets a little late. The drinks prices are a little steep and it gets packed during football matches. Overall this pub gets a well deserved 7/10 for such charming atmosphere (( More reviews at UK Barblog http://barblog.blogdrive.com/ )) altdesigns - 7 Sep 2005 13:29 |
| A very nice friendly pub, it has a very friendly atmosphere and every one in the pub seems to know everyone else. The pub has been redecorated but with Oak, English Oak on the floor and the Bar counter has been done in French Oak this only adds to the charm of the pub and the Landlord and Lady are nice friendly people as are most of the Regulars.
