My friends and I thought we would give The Tup another whirl after hearing a new manager had taken over from the drug fuelled ex landlord. We stayed a few hours but to be honest it wasn't so much a bad experience as a rather bland one. Beer wasn't up to much and the wine was rather on the warm side, on the plus the place looked a little cleaner but still lacked the atmosphere, warmth and hospitality of when Andy and is team were there. Everyone seems to be in The Nelson nowadays, will check The Tup out again in another few weeks but in the meantime we'll all drink where the pleasant crowd is.

I am also very sad on how much the Tup has changed lately. It has no atmosphere anymore and the food - I really wouldn't try it again, and I have tried it a few times, got worse not better.

I used to be in the Tup most Saturday nights for the discos, NYE, the Collywood nights and way to more to mention, and a great night was always had by me and my friends. It has just not got the fun or wow factor it had when Andy was the manager, I also used to hire an area for my Birthday party, and did so each year Andy was there, now, I am having it at a pub in Clapham instead. Don't fancy GJ's either.

I think it is such ashame that the Tup will never be the same as it once was, I have so many great memories and will never forget the wonderful times Andy gave us - If you ever read this Andy - we miss you so much and would love nothing more than to see you putting on some of you great shows in the Tup once more. Please come back and run another pub in Colliers Wood or even Wimbledon.

I totally agree with the latest two comments on how the Tup has lost all it's fun and charm since Andy has left!!! I think we need to bring Andy back from Tenerife not just ring him!!!

Bring back Andy, all his theme nights, fun nights and great times he gave us at the Tup!!!
