Appears to be shut again, following the recent floods in the area.

Now a blues/jazz music placed called, er, Blue. This is exactly what it was before Baobab. Not sure if it will this time around.

Hi There,

just moved in to the area and was having a wander round - really liked the look of the baobab - went inside and it was dead though! Plus the service was terrible.
What happened? This place looks like it could be really good...was there ever a time that it was?
I've found the Tup pretty boring and Kiss me Hardy is a dive...would love to have a good quality pub to sup a pint in....what does everyone think?

Looks like Punch Taverns is searching for someone to run it, according to a sign over the door. The new owners didn't last long then.

Just went on PTs website and it's on for capital costs of £28,500. Not for me, but hopefully someone will take the opportunity to give The Tup a run for its money, although nowadays I tend to stick to The Sultan.
