| Overpriced food and painfully slow service despite there being few other diners. Whilst waiting 30 minutes for desserts, we overheard the landlord pontificating about the fact that it only takes one negative aspect to sour a diner's opinion of an otherwise good experience. | I think this place is an absolute delight! the food was superb , we went on a very busy evening, the landlord and lady were very welcoming on our arrival and seemed to be greeting everyone which was a nice touch. The lady behind the bar was lovely, friendly and most helpful and the young waitresses were all sweet and good fun. They seem to have a great mix of local drinkers and the diners and it seems to work very well. We will defiantly go back kent1 - 7 Jul 2011 00:22 |

| Great local pub with an awesome garden outdoor area to sit in when the weather is good. Indoors, original 12th century oak beams, fireplaces and multiple small sitting areas. Mike, the owner was there when we cycled by and he was a great host I recommend it! davidarmet - 11 Sep 2010 23:27 |
