Not really my kind of pub but I'll go anywhere that serves a good pint of Proper Job cmofish - 6 May 2011 14:33
Good pint of Proper Job and a very decent roast (cooked in the open kitchen). A good bet in central Exeter, which is deprived of agreeable pubs. mickeyphelansshorts - 14 Nov 2010 21:55
Lovely pint of S A Proper Job but then it was £3 a pint, Nice tidy pub though maybe a bit "Gastro" grrr 7/10 fat_beer_badger - 15 Oct 2009 17:37
Really trying to be trendy .... not really working though, was much nicer and busier when it was a proper pub in it's hey day in the 1990s. only busy now at the weekends. bellas - 16 Aug 2008 01:41
Shocking beer quality; wanted my card kept behind the bar for a lunch tab; sold me a pint of beer that was sitting 3/4 full under a tap; staff were eating Gregg's sausage rolls and leaving them half-eaten on the bar counter; manageress completely bemused why I wasn't happy about all this. Food was pretty good but I wouldn't go back. Appallingly unprofessional operation all round. spit - 6 Mar 2008 08:28
