Supplier is Break Brothers – frozen foods. Resultant pulp is microwaved and charged (or advertised) as either fresh or “home cooked”. Huge and massively extravagant prices for what is the frozen junk delivered to all Fuller’s outlets. Frankly, disgraceful. georgespubguide - 7 Jan 2010 17:57
MASSIVELY overpriced, otherwise just an ordinary Fullers Pub. Chav element is large as is our Coloured Cousins. This is, apparently, where the latter come to “do things” (mainly and rudely – in the car park) they shouldn’t given it’s perceived distant from home. My experience today: £4.10 for a pint of ESB (ouch). Entering (and leaving) was confronted by a number of CC throwing condoms from cars. A great hideaway for those Sikhs, Hindu’s and Muslims playing away from home. OTHERWISE avoid..... harefield_2003 - 30 Aug 2009 23:01
This place is more like a Fullers restaurant than pub, although the bar area at the front is quite comfortable. There is a huge plasma screen up on the wall, but I saw no sign of any sport advertisements so I’m not sure what it is used for. The whole of the back of the pub is a waiter service restaurant and the food looked quite pricey. I had a burger in the front bar and it was very big, but a little bland and expensive at £9.50. The pub is in the middle of nowhere down a lane that splits Osterley Park and a golf course so the food can’t be that bad as it was pretty busy with local workers that had driven down to have their lunch. The draught selection is very minimal, but the Pride was on top form and Chiswick and ESB were also available. I found the staff and the manager to be extremely friendly and efficient and there didn’t seem to be any problems as the pub got busier for the lunchtime rush. There is ample parking outside which is mostly hedged off from the picnic tables surrounding the front and side of the pub. There is also a large area of covered seating for those rainy days and another big grassed area at the rear of the pub that sides onto the garden centre next door. I’m sure that the covers will soon be coming off the BBQ and bar area that is located on the edge of the grass. I'd imagine that this place is lovely in the summer if you are lucky enough to get a table away from any rampaging kids and I would go back if I lived in the area. Strongers - 15 May 2009 15:57
We had a wonderful afternoon in this pub on Saturday. It was my daughters third birthday and after an indoor party at a local playpark we escaped to the sunshine and the oasis of the pub garden. A bunch of adults and several small children, they ran around the garden whilst we tucked into some grub and had a well deserved spritzer. The food was gorgeous, the staff were very friendly and attentive, even bringing out frisbees and balls for the children to play with. Am writing this review as all were extremely impressed and a nice day was made even nicer with this fab service. Well done all at the H&H, keep up the good work. kla - 27 Apr 2009 16:16
Pub has potential - fantastic beer garden perfect for summer days. However the staff are clueless, service is atrocious. Impossible to get served & food was average given the steep price. triphopper - 12 Sep 2008 21:59
