Live music at the weekends now, quite a good atmosphere.

once again, i'll repeat that this is a nice pub, howvever i would like to complain about the ridiculous pricing of certain drinks. for example, the price of a pint of coke is £2.70, sounds alot to me. could buy 4-5 cans of coke 4 that amount of money!!!!

this is a quality pub, nice atmosphere, safe quiz on a Sunday evening and Mr Steve Evans is a legit geeze with a bizarre but funny laugh.
would recommend it to anyone.

A much improved and welcoming pub. Very good food (I can personally recommend their Christmas Fayre)and ale kept in good condition. Limited wine list, but I am sure that will improve.

Further to comments from 'swordsman5' he fails to state that he was asked to leave the Halfway House due to intoxication and having been removed, caused Criminal Damage to a window and was subsequently taken into custody by the Police. To customers such as this, I make no appology for appearing unwelcoming or surly, as I run a straight pub, free from criminal activity. My customers enjoy a warm welcome.
