Lively town pub a bit rowdy over the weekend. A few decent ales on offer and quite cheap so has its good points. Quite good for an early evening drink. Loud music at the weekend makes it difficult to relax and chat as the evening goes on. Stumbling past the narrow bar area to get to the loos can be annoying. Ladies loo is not good apparently! Good and bad points here really. moanalot - 2 Jul 2011 10:25
Not a bad pub, although I wish they would let people know that they are holding a gay night so that customers can then decide if they want to leave before the whole place gets taken over with bottom enthusiasts. Good for watching sport on TV ilovelotsofbeer - 5 May 2011 15:51
Great pub, if you want a fight on a Friday night. Crap beer and dodgy atmos, avoid. kevmac - 14 Mar 2010 22:31
Decent pint of Black Sheep & they also had London Pride. TV screens were very much in your face - a pub very much for the youthful members of society, although the ales suggest there are exceptions. Booze_Allen - 10 Mar 2009 19:18
