Does this pub not like strangers or does this pub not like strangers? Certainly made us feel as welcome as sand in the picnic. Drinks had two prices to. One for tourists and one for regulars. If you do not know it's there you would not go. They do not light the board up.

Only stopped in for one, Harveys was pleasant enough, clientele were a little rough around the edges, but nice enough. Pub itself has had one of those half hearted (cheap) attempts to smarten itself up, with a couple of leather sofas and such dotted around. Which to be honest haven’t really added anything to it I suspect.
Never going to be a favourite pub of mine, but worth a go.

A solid default late drink. Clientele are an eclectic mix of the lost, the misguided and the simply plastered. Atmosphere around closing time was reminiscent of a field dressing station during Napoleon's retreat from Moscow. The desperation was palpable....though hope remained in the eyes of a cheery moon-faced little chap I observed delivering a lengthy monologue about a trip to Sun City. Apparently it's not a city. Who'd have thought it?

Good late stop on the way back to the crash...Some pratt may have put his fist through the window...but what a great combination of drinkers in there...Posh totty dancing, posh drunken guys drinking, posties on a late drink, drunken northern blokes talking about their teams, lesbian police officers on a bender...For a late drink this is what you want.....

I cannot think of a worse pub in London.

Not that I had much time to judge it, mind you. I popped in with a friend on a Saturday night at around 9pm for a quick drink. The place was not busy, maybe a dozen people, and no-one was waiting to be served at the bar. I went up to the bar to buy some drinks - the barmaid was standing at the other end of the bar chatting to a friend. She looked at me, then continued chatting. I continued to wait. She looked over again, took a few steps in my direction, then started messing around with her iPod. After a minute of being ignored, I decided that ANYWHERE would be better than this, so we left.

Maybe if we had actually managed to have a drink, we might have enjoyed the place. But, to be honest, I doubt it - the clientele was distinctly chavvy, and the atmosphere wasn't up to much either.
