I've loved this place for years. It's a tiny bar in Exmouth Market with two or three football tables and lots of retro furniture and footy pix. Great atmosphere and food - the bottled beers are expensive but top quality. Cool, friendly, unusual.

Does indeed exhibit a certain grotty continental/South American charm. Toilets are comedy for a bar this popular: one in, one out, and it's ever so slightly expensive, and more than slightly full of trendy wankers. Interesting collection of football scarves and memorabilia though.

Bit of a dive... but has a great atmosphere... especially in the summer when it packs out so much it spills into Exmouth Market. Slow service but probably due to barstaff doing (pretty good) cocktails half the time. Footy tables a good laugh.

I agree with Stoner....it does remind me of a continental style cafe/bar. Not necessarily a bad thing. Definitely has a certain grotty charm.

Has stoner had a bit too much weed? This place is quality, the table football a cracker, good cocktails, sound staff, could do with a couple of draft lagers on tap as the Sagres at £2.65 hurts the pocket after a few, but otherwise a great place.

The slightly run down, slightly edgy feel just adds to the apeal, a world away from all the chrome 'n glass type cocktail bars. And it's open til 1am Saturdays. Brilliant.
