Have been to this pub a few times since it has been built and each time I'm met by massive disappointment. The food is obviously cooked in a microwave and ends up burnt and tasteless if at all and the service is appalling. Just goes to show that chain "pubs" are ruining the traditional English public house. dannyj - 29 Jul 2008 18:35
It appears that there is another side to Vintage Inns which belies their projected public image. You might care to look at mine and others experiences at the Golden Galleon. Regarding food orders I believe that when busy any order which requires some attention gets pushed to the back of the queue in order to speed throughput. If any of you out there have had similar treatment at the hands of Vintage Inns then write to Mitchells and Butlers managing director - address is on their web site. REVERENDBAZ - 25 Feb 2008 09:13
We waited a long time for our food to arrive. In the meantime a man next to us had got food for his whole family but his did not arrive at all. When the manageress came to see him after he complained she actually screamed at him to get out although he had never raised his voice, he only complained about having no food. She repeatedly screamed at him until he and his family left because she wouldn't stop shouting. Our food when it arrived was burned and tasteless but we were more concerned about the man who didn't get a meal at all. UpsetPunter - 23 Feb 2008 19:02
