| New mangement!!!!!!! One of the best and friendly pubs in the area. Are last vist was on a sunday. meat raffle. Much to are surpise roast potaoes on the bar (very nice). | As pub has now re-opened with new licensee my visit was with trepidation. However, we had a warm welcome from bar staff and the new "credit crunch" menu was an absolute bargain. Fresh sliced ham, egg and amazingly crisp chips for myself and three tasty bangers, egg and chips for my companion. No plastic packets of sauce either but real pots of mustard. Rest of the menu looked great. Bar and restaurant get top marks; when the beer garden, childrens playground and flower beds get tidied up the pub will get 9+ from me. | I went tonight with my wife to the Coach and Horses. WOW has it changed. What used to be a really good pub many years ago was utterly ruined by a prentious landlord who was openly contemptuous of his customers. Thank the Lord he has now gone and tonight we went in to a totally different atmosphere, busy happy and with food OUT OF THIS WORLD for just £ 4.95 per plate. My wife had Bar-B-Q pork ribs with chips and good salad garnish, I had Pork and Apple Pie, wonderful Puff pastry and vegetables that were all fresh, cooked A Dente and actually TASTED.
