| This is one of our local pubs and have never had an issue. We always have a good chat and a laugh with the people working there, and when we have eaten there, do not find the prices any higher than other pubs in the area. | Visited on a wednesday evening, 3 of us, no bitter available ! stayed till 10 pm( arrived at 8:30) when the landlord called last orders and informed us that as there were less than 5 people in the bar he would be closing early! ordered and drank last two drinks as we were about to finish our drinks landlord said we must leave. Bar staff then said to my partner I should not have served you in the first place as you were rude about not having bitter available!! she was not rude. landlord then said to my eastern european partner who has been in this country for 15 years " you should learn to be polite in this country" The barmaid was from eastern europe too !! As we were leaving I said I will not be back was then given a torrent of abuse from landlord " F@cking good because I have been waiting for the last hour for you to PIss off, if I came round to your living room and sat there would you want me to leave" STRANGE on a quiet wednesday evening I would have thought they would have been glad of our business.
