| Been here a few times now and have noticed that the pub has a distinct division of locals and visitors bar, the former being a bit shouty. No matter, it's always a nice place for a pint and some food - the exciting 'new' menu is far from exciting but was very attentively served by the staff, the younger barman who on this visit was very polite and industrious. simonjolty - 12 Apr 2010 10:32 |
| Popped in for a quick meal and a drink. Under NEW MANAGEMENT - some ginger Lion Man or something stupid. New Menu, New Staff (lovely young woman looked after me perfectly) and the beer is better kept than before. All in all, on the up! plumbpudding - 4 Feb 2010 11:10 |

| I liked this pub, nice relaxed atmosphere, and they do a mean fish n chips! Could do with more beer choice perhaps (only Harveys Best on for the ales) but overall its pretty good 7/10 steve_on_tour - 11 Oct 2008 20:40 |
