Nignog is lying he actually put Micheal Flatley on the jukebox and everyone started Riverdancing!! superseagulls - 4 Sep 2008 17:08
I visit Brighton quite a lot through my work as a marine biologist. And my dear wifes family are related to the Brunswicks so I went here and had a pitcher of pimms and cherryade, apparantly this is this pubs signiture drink. it went down like jurgen klinsman. checked out the jukebox and put on some slipknot which got everyone up boogying and before I knew it I was in the middle of a big mosh pit and then I started crowd surfing. met a couple of blokes called winston and bobo the big black man off monstersofcock.com we went on a bit of a session and ended up in the market diner I asked for the desert menu as I wasn't up for a fry up I had profiteroles and they were very nice. nignog - 4 Sep 2008 17:04
Went here on a friday night and found it full of teeanage goths who take themselves veeeery seriously. Aside from this, a nice enough place to go for a pint. don't make a special trip here but if you live local then there's probably a lot worse. wakmaggot - 10 May 2008 23:39
Had a great Sunday lunch hear but not impressed with the butgers on second visit. Good selection of Cider but imagine this place is more of a night time pub than a day time haunt. sweeny8000 - 23 Feb 2008 13:55
| Just moved to Brighton (well, "Hove actually"), and already I've decided that the Caroline is gonna be my regular haunt, even though it's a couple of miles away (it's well worth the bus ride). The percentage of stylishly-dressed customers is incredibly high (not just dodgy old goffs - I'm a fine one to talk - but some really fierce looks), the DJs are spot-on, the staff are friendly, the themed nights are imaginitive, the beer garden is nice, the decor is fantastic (especially in the upstairs room), can't recommend it highly enough.
