The Northern's boarded up now. There had been complaints about it from residents but, as it really didn't seem to be any different to how it's always been, this might have been more down to new residents in the than it's being a bad pub. | A truly awful, unfriendly pub in one of the rougher parts of Brighton. Shepherd Neame pubs are normally worth a visit, but this one is beyond hope. And it's always been the same!
