One of those ex-bank type establishments that Fullers like. Nothing to fault it as such but it just lacks something that you cant put your finger on. Beer was good. Service was good. But something was just missing. TheHorsesMouth - 7 Nov 2011 12:56
Well-kept ales served in a relaxing, friendly pub. Spacious and airy layout. Interesting Fullers version of Hoggarth's 'Beer Street' dominates the wall facing the bar. Very pleasant and well worth a visit. wobblybob - 4 Nov 2011 11:21
Really nice pub in a good location. I didn't find any problems with the beer, and I had about six. They all tasted fresh and tasty. I had a bit of food as well - the Welsh Rarebit. Not the most the difficult dish to make, to it's important to do the simple things properly. The service was prompt and polite. The location of the pub is great if you have to get to Victoria Station. When I went in, most of the other patrons were locals, who seemed pleasant. I couldn't find fault with it. The beer is a tad expensive, but that's 2011 London for you. AshingdonMan - 25 Apr 2011 20:22
Used to live in the area, and visited here regularly. Its not the most exciting pub, but the beer was excellently kept and served. I visited yesterday after moving away 18 months ago and was pretty disappointed. The pub was the same, but the beer was ropey at best. jesmith78 - 18 Apr 2011 18:08
A decent fullers pub. Got a smile from the girl serving as soon as I approached the bar which makes you feel at home. It does a jugged hare pie which I did not have the pleasure of tasting, bu from wht I hear is a popular choice. Has a splendid interior dominated by wood pannelling, pillars and the ceiling boasts a large chandelier. 7/10. alcohol1c_anonymous - 22 Mar 2011 19:26
