£3.50 for a bog-standard glass of house red and full of overflowing ashtrays which the clueless barstaff showed no inclination of cleaning. Criminally overpriced and rubbish.

Possibly - but it was the Princess Royal until some time pre 1997 when it became the Orange Kipper (see comment re crappy made-up names).

Re-named The Warwick.
Does anyone know if this was this pub's original name before it was The Hedgehog and Pheasant?
(Isn't it fantastic, by the way, that these crappy, made-up names which desecrated so many pubs in the 80s/90s are finally disappearing...?!)

Re-opened a few days ago after a re-fit. Has tried to go a bit more upmarket with some ornate furniture, some sofas and a more stylish colour scheme.
However, it is still attracting scrotes in football tops.
A name change may be on the cards because when I passed by the other day it was name-less outside.
