I sometimes frequent this pub when I'm not at the Pawleyne arms (across the road). I have never had a problem with it , good ales , very good food

Its the pub of choice when my wife wants a drink and a meal, i would recc this pub for the exact same. I have never been here late at night when I hear all the "lunatics" come out.

I went into this pub on a lovely sunny Saturday while out walking....
The staff were very friendly , the beer garden was very nice and the beer was very cold , they do grub but I wasnt hungry.....

I will gladly be dropping back to this nice pub ........

I like this pub, has always been my local and worked there collecting glasses when i was 13. Management have totally changed it around and i think they have done a blinding job with it. When you look back and see what it was and what it is now its a major improvement!

I went there on a saturday night and it was pretty dead and empty. Wouldn't bother going there again, a shame as it's the only pub in the area and it's easy to get to as it's on both the 194 and 358 bus routes.

Indeed, after the new management took over the place has taken a turn for the better. Sundays are heaving. The roasts are fantastic.
Having a bus stop right outside makes the pub easily accessable from the areas of croydon and bromley.
Ace Place, really nice food (large portions) and the management are much better than the previous.
Its a shame it was known previously as a bit of a downer pub, but now. MUCH BETTER!
Having been to a few of the events, i got to say, they get a good crowd!
