The new Sunday carvery is superb. Very nice Neonpink - 26 Nov 2011 20:19
Good pub. Excellent food, and good value for money. Sunday dinner is A1. Landlady makes you feel welcome, but she does not stand for any bad behavior, she will tell you exactly what she thinks, and her staff are friendly. Probably one of the best pubs in the Beckenham area. Hayman - 22 May 2011 19:12
The Sunday roast is definitely worth a look in, i do love a bit of roast beef. Mmmmm! With the food being home cooked the menu looks even more appealing. I'd say more but Carling below seems to have summed the pub up quite nicely. :) With a lovely beer garden and designated under canopy smoking area, its good for everyone any time of the year. Inc. well behaved dogs and children :) :) Neonpink - 30 Jan 2011 13:38
I frequently pop in this pup and I have to say that it is the best pub in the area for for and drink. It is competitively priced and the food is all home cooked by the two land ladies. The pub is a free house and child friendly, well behaved dogs are welcome as well. There is a decent sized garden at the rear with well kept flower beds, also a large car park which is secure if you would like to leave your car over night. One of the last remaining good pubs in the area and the best for food by far. Carling2165 - 3 Jun 2010 07:43
I sometimes frequent this pub when I'm not at the Pawleyne arms (across the road). I have never had a problem with it , good ales , very good food Its the pub of choice when my wife wants a drink and a meal, i would recc this pub for the exact same. I have never been here late at night when I hear all the "lunatics" come out. cossy52 - 11 Dec 2009 12:09
