Came in hear on a sunday night and was surprised to see a pub with a good atmosphere. The mood is relaxed and has an authentic feel which many local pubs n shirley and west wickham don't have. The drinks are well priced and ther is a good selecton of bitter and lager. The only downer is that the bar staff don't use hardly any vodka in their cocktails. However I enjoyed my time and will be returning!!! You wouldn't know this pub is part of a restuarant!!! Good clientelle, good staff and good beer so what more could you ask for!!! h.bomb - 19 Aug 2007 22:00
Good selection of beers but attached to a toby carvery so not really a pub arranged in the proper sense. Bizarelly attached to a Travel-lodge. So Eden Park is a tourist honey-pot then. terenced - 17 Oct 2006 13:55
I like this pub if i want a quite drink. Good selection of beers. Not alot of alcipops tho, i think they only had 2. Quite strict on I.D, was in there the other night and the girl behind the bar was I.Ding everyone. Felt sorry for her because she was the only one doing it, and being called horrid names for it! Staff are pleasant, not very much of an atmosphere tho, but on sundays having to wait 2 hours for your table is I think just a way to make money! iloveme - 26 Jun 2006 16:30
Younger clientele, but nonetheless a decent atmosphere. A little pricey for my liking, especially with the Goose just up the road, but a better atmosphere and a large seating area for when the sun's out. Can get busy though, especially on evenings and weekends, and I think the Langley Park school kids drink here a lot. Clean and quite airy and not bad for a pint nonetheless, although I'd not spend too long in here if I were on a night out. man_of_kent - 22 Jun 2006 17:02
In there last night. Would be nice if the Bar Staff were trained before being let loose on Joe Public. It was clear that one of them was not familiar with bar work (though she tried hard - Bless) - of course she was left on her own for long periods, so getting a drink took rather longer than it should - even though the place was hardly heaving. Very little atmosphere - bland decor - few chavs playing fruit machines and some dreadful piped 70's music. Not one to recommend I would have to say!! WhoFlungDung - 23 May 2006 23:49
