| Great little pub in village centre. More 'down to earth' than The Sun. Had been recommended the food, and the menu looked very good. My burger was nothing special though and not cheap. | Nice pub, good range of ales and friendly staff. However the menu was a bit limited (only one game dish) which was a bit of a disappointment, although the food was ok. Could do with losing the tablecloths and candles and the whole 'separate restaurant' look - bit twee for a country pub. Would go back, but only for a beer. pazaa - 26 Mar 2007 13:09 |
