Only ever been there for lunch, for which it's ideal. Great garden, friendly staff, Doom Bar and well priced food. Pretty good all round

Lovely little pub in a nice setting, but the bar is so small its difficult to get served at busy times. I always feel like the locals resent non regulars using their pub though, which is a shame.

Lovely pub with garden in an outstangly beautiful location. The ales are served too cold, seems like they have been through the lager chiller.

Semi-rural pub with a popular and large seating area at the front. The bar areas have stone floors and exposed beams. No TVs were on and no music was being played. Beers served were Youngs Special, Greene King IPA, Old Speckled Hen and Sharps Doom Bar. The Morland Original was off. A nice spot to catch a bit of sun. But nothing really stood out to encourage me to pay a return visit.

The owners claim to have refurbished this pub
The work appears to consist of having installed two large television screens, one in the bar and one in the eating area, which prevent any chance of a quiet evening's conversation with friends and family.
The seating is old, uncomfortable and badly arranged. The food portions are small and overpriced.
This is not a pub I would recommend it if you like to get away from the television and have a comfortable evening out!
