| Popped in with the family during the recent Scarecrow Festival. Nice little pub - no gastro pretensions, just an honest boozer offering a range of decent ales. Would definitely go back, especially if the chap cooking burgers is outside again, selling superb burgers from the butcher next door. philanders - 13 Jun 2011 12:31 |
| I have visited this pub several times with the wife. The ales are top notch. I have drunk Ringwood 49 'er, Doombar and 6X. ALL were excellent. Went the other night and had two steak meals with a bottle of wine for £25. It was beautifully cooked. | Visited the pub with a walking group, intended to stay for a pint and a meal but both food and drink were expensive. Certainly not a friendly pub, in fact I don't think the girl spoke English, so although our group were the only visitors we did not stay.
