| My friend and I had sunday lunch here, the food was well cooked and good value for money so we returned for an evening meal which again did not disappoint... we had sausage and mash which was delicious..together with the stylish decor, comfortable surroundings and friendly staff..a lovely pub. | Spent an evening with friends and we all really enjoyed the food, service and the fireplace! This is a updated traditional pub with fine dining, the staff looked after us and the owner chef actually came out to see us at the table. We will return. Ranche - 13 Jan 2012 15:31 |
| Absolutely awful pub and I would never, ever return! Just about everything about the pub is poor; the service, the food etc! It appears they're trying to be a 'gastropub' and failing miserably! The food is very overpriced and there's no real selection. The staff weren't anything to write home about, and the toilets greet you as you enter the pub, which isn't one bit warranted! | Not sure previous reviews can be of the same place, I had a 12oz sirloin with fries and a salad and choice of sauce and it was probably the best steak I have ever eaten. My partner had the fish pie which was definitly home made and delicious.
