QUOTE (SICK_OF_THE_LIES @ Mar 19 2010, 12:42 AM) THE RECENT PROBLEM BETWEEN THE MITRE/HARP/CASK WAS THOUGHT TO HAVE ENDED WITH THE REMOVAL OF THE OFFENDING POSTS FROM THE THREE PAGES HOWEVER THEY DO NOT SEEM TO WANT TO STOP THE MATTER. ONE OFFENDING POST BY PRINCE MONOLULU HAS BEEN LEFT ON THE CASK PAGE WHILE HIS POSTS ON HARP AND MITRE BEEN REMOVED. NEW POSTS BY THE 'ONEANDONLY1' + 'HARRYHOSPUR' + 'LIONELRICHTEA' HAVE ALL CONTINUED THE PERSONAL ABUSED AIMED AT THIS PUB. IT REALLY IS WRONG THAT DRINKERS OF ONE SET OF PUBS CAN TRASH ANOTHER PUB FOR NO GOOD REASON AND WITHOUT JUSTIFICATION. LETS GET THESE POSTS REMOVED AND END THE SLANDER AND GAMES. I think you should honestly cool it. Yet again, you have signed on under another name, and still pretend that you are innocent and hard done by. You've been puffing your pub's position on the top 40 for months now. Why? It's a good enough pub on it's own merits. Be happy and sit back and wait for honest rating by drinkers to the Cask & Kitchen. And why continue to fool yourself that you weren't mr_ange who praised your pub last week under your own listing, but was offensive to the Harp and Ye Olde Mitre last week. Now your attacking the Ship at Wandsworth, and The Lord Clyde. And now attacking the Mitre once more. You have seriously lost it in Pimlico. DEPTFORDDUTCH - 19 Mar 2010 01:19
I think gaypostman and stevieshears are one and the same; possibly Cask & Kitchen management or staff having a hissie fit at popular pubs in the top 40 competition? They've tried The Harp, and Ye Olde Mitre, and The Lord Clyde. Which pub are they going for next? This is certainly a pop at the Ship. DEPTFORDDUTCH - 19 Mar 2010 00:44
This pub has been yoyoing up and down the Top 40 for the last three months despite not been reviewed since December. I detect a strong odour of rodent... gaypostman - 18 Mar 2010 23:45
I think LeBooze is being a bit disingenuous in his review. While I agree that you could only be in this pub on purpose that doesn't excuse the awful Hooray Henrys who have taken over the place. Youngs have turned this into a foodie pub to cater for the type of person who wouldn't know a decent pub or a decent pint of ale if their life depended on it. I used to come here to sit on the wonderful terrace but the combination of monied idiots, emphasis on food and deteriorating quality of ale means this place is no longer worth a toss. stevieshears - 18 Mar 2010 22:48
