| Ok it doesn't have the charismatic grubbiness that I usually go for in a pub but I quite liked it. Inside looks much better than out. I ate in there and the food was good. They had T.E.A on one of the handpumps which you don't see in many places. The atmosphere was far less ra-ra-ra than down the road at the Alma. The staff were all polite and efficient. It's a place I'd go to eat and have a few but if I were just drinking then I'd opt for the Grapes. mitomighty - 22 Aug 2006 17:53 |
