Food is decent enough, although menu a little bland. Agree to an extent with comments re: Harveys...can be variable, but at least it's on tap. Beer garden good in summer but in winter the pub can be a bit bleak, and the table layout doesn't help.
But probably best pub in the Clapham Junction area (not saying much, mind you...)

The Coach and Horses, Clapham
Service puts most other local pubs in the shade (the fact is, bar staff are mostly Australian and don't feel that politeness/cheeriness are beneath them).
Beer selection OK and food is surprisingly good. Basic pub but a lot of charm.
