Food is decent enough, although menu a little bland. Agree to an extent with comments re: Harveys...can be variable, but at least it's on tap. Beer garden good in summer but in winter the pub can be a bit bleak, and the table layout doesn't help.
But probably best pub in the Clapham Junction area (not saying much, mind you...)

Building has genuine character and, on the face of it, pub has a decent rotating real ale selection but, fatally, all beers are chilled to the bone. Also suffers from the usual bored, listless service of many pubs in the area. Always crowded...

Decent enough beer selection (Harvey's, Hoegaarden) let down by bored, uninterested staff who can't be bothered to greet customers.

The Coach and Horses, Clapham
Service puts most other local pubs in the shade (the fact is, bar staff are mostly Australian and don't feel that politeness/cheeriness are beneath them).
Beer selection OK and food is surprisingly good. Basic pub but a lot of charm.
