Reasonable pub. Generally a good clientele, but avoid like the plague on a monday night when it seems there is a regular meet up of cyclists.

I ride a bike myself so wouldn't want to tar every cyclist with the same brush, but these are a particularly objectionable bunch.

So 8 out of 10 for everday apart from monday.

Very good pub off the beat and track a touch but much preferred to the Abbeyville. Good everything, including I'm reliably informed by the missus, the Clarke Kent lookalike behind the jump. Great operation in a rapidly declining area. Cheers Steve n Clarke.

Been coming to this pub for years now as its so much better than those on Clapham high street that tend to be full of people who resemble a sasquatch.

The place also has a great upstairs room for hire, I think called the 'David Nicholls' room after a former patron who drunk here in the 1900's.

Staff always friendly, good ale and beer selection, and the footy to boot, all in a top boozer in the area.
