The Wiltshire Yeoman, Chirton

It was a restaurant - and an unusually good one. Previous management have just decamped for Cornwall. Shame. Hope the new management are up to the previous standards. The transformation of the nearby Millstream (also an excellent pub restaurant)into a horsey theme pub with a very basic menu has really limited good food choices in the area.

The Millstream, Marden

The old Millstream provided the sort of food we like (unusual in pubs), a warm welcome and good service. We popped into the now renamed Triple Crown a few days ago, took one look (it doesn't take long) at the very basic and limited menu and decided it wasn't for us. Shame. Another unusual pub dumbed down.
