As to the comment above....the kids area is at the rear of the pub (half the pub) it is near the garden yes but it is not a small area at all. Also kids are welcome in the family area if they are eating.

Brill atmosphere great service good music good food just a brill pub.

Brill pub, typical irish pub great atmosphere shme the flats opposite have made the music licence go.

Local winner of Birminghams best bar and lives up to the reputation. Good food cheap beer and a great atmosphere. Gets busy when a major show on at the hippodrome. Better than other spoons in the town worth a visit.

As to the comment below the kids area is to the rear of the pub it is not small in size (half the pub) so how can it be small. It is near the garden but nowhere near the smokers as the garden is big and the smoke does not drift into the pub. Also kids are welcome in the pub if they are eating and in the family area.
