The Brewery Tap, Reading

Decent pub that used to frequent when living in Readin about 5 years ago.Good beer and football and a proper pub as opposed to the slop served up at the Oracle...

The Drop Inn, Fallowfield

Used to come here as a student 8-10 years ago remember a great packed garden in the summer, great for watching footie and everyone up for a laugh. Visited it again this summer on a trip to Manchester, the place was depressing. It has had a revamp that hasn't worked, the garden has been left to rot,(new furniture maybe) and it was empty and souless. i thought at first i was remembering it through pissed student tinted glasses. But no it truly is awful.

The Mucky Pup, Angel, Islington

Ellie its a pub not a posh hotel, sorry that you had to wait for people to take their pool shot before walking past it must have been simply awful!!! (What is going on in your head if you find that annoying!)Great pub, good quiz, good food, friendly landlord etc etc. a good experience!!

The Crown, Islington

Went here on a sunny sunday afternoon...very pleasant outside and in, can't really comment on the food although the table next to us did not seem impressed in terms of what they were paying for what they were getting ,but all in all a good proper pub...

The Camden Head, Islington

A great pub if you don't like the service don't come here. If you want your drink straight away buy some cans at the offie. Great decor and lively place!!!

Birdcage, Chiswick

Been to this place in many of its previous incarnations and this is easily the best. Friendly to all, good cheap food and a good place to relax with the papers or meet friends.

The Stag, Chiswick

Went here last night perfectly decent pub. Friendly staff and locals, great jukebox and one of the few places left in the area that is still a real pub with real people. If you don't like it get down the road to the gastro pubs who im sure will welcome your pink shirt and loafers with open arms.
