| On Saturday 6th January 2018 I got the train to Reading with my fried and when we got off we walked to the Back Of Beyond and I walked up to the bar and I ordered a pint of beer for me and cider for my friend and we wanted something to eat too but there were lots of men with red faces shouting and pushing at the bar so we didn't bother and I don't wand to go to the Back Of Beyond again and I will not go the next time that I go on the train Alan_Caffrens - 12 Jan 2018 12:38 |
| This is a perfectly acceptable Wetherspoons despite some of the earlier reviews. There is plenty of room and light inside and it's not as crowded as the Hope Tap. The selection of real ales on offer was a little uninspired but the beer was in good condition. RealAleBloke - 16 Feb 2016 16:27 |
| I would steer clear of this pub as it really is the pits. Dirty pub, dirty toilets & whatever you do don't lean on the bar as I don't think it is wiped all day. Bar staff quite unpleasant and rude. SanJuan - 2 Jun 2015 13:14 |
