The Jolly Sailors, Pakefield

Good observations & description by Charlton Fisher.

Personally, I was most disappointed by the food. The 3 course senior citizen special (ordered for my 85 year old mum) was the only decent thing we got.

The Triangle Tavern, Lowestoft

P.S. Forgot to mention; always got 2 real ciders on. One of which is usually Banhams Rum Cask. (7.5%) Superb!

The Plough Inn, Blundeston

Exceptionally well kept, village pub. Quite large but still cosy on account of several different bars areas.

Always got 3 or 3 real ales on.

Restaurant is excellent. Typical main course 7.50 - 11.50

The Fat Cat, Norwich

If it is real ale you want, this place is unbeatable. I counted 33 draft beers. Cheers!

The Oak Tavern, Lowerstoft

If it is Belgian & French beers you want, this place has the largest selection I've ever seen which makes it worth a visit.

Otherwise a regular pub with pool & darets

The Derby Tup, Whittington Moor

Yup, all the other contributors are right.

When you are in Chesterfield, it is worth putting youeself out to go there.

The Triangle Tavern, Lowestoft

You heard it here first!

Green Jack 'RIPPER' which is brewed at the Triangle, just voted Champion Beer of Britain 2007.

Congratulations to Tim and his team.

Swan Inn, Barnby

I'll leave all the journalistic blurb to the previous contributor. Hoewver it is safe to say that I concur with it all.

I would like to go one step further though by saying the restaurant has to be the best value and consistantly superb restaraunt I've ever been to.(Depends what you have of course, but expect 15 - 25 each)

It has never dissapointed me.
