A fine example of a traditional real ale pub. The Green Jack ales are very well kept and the pub has a friendly welcoming atmosphere. It was My 1st visit yesterday but I will definitely be back on my next trip to Lowestoft. I will have to try one of the music Fridays!!

Quiz night! Eight own brew beers on, with a range of colours and gravities. Traskermen very nice for us traditional beer drinkers. I think that they had a guest beer on too.
Friendly welcome and well worth the visit.

What is going on here ? Lt couple of times pub stank to high heaven and three different green jack beers all bland and flat. Someone needs to get a grip fast !

Large range of Green Jack beers plus two guest ales on our visits. Sign in the back bar said 'Hippies please use back door, no exceptions' but I had already entered via the front door and only saw the sign when I nipped out for a ciggie. Staff are friendly and helpful as are the locals. Pub with character, I enjoyed my visits.
